Sept 30 2016

Today again was a free day. Everyone pretty much dispersed in all directions depending on what caught their interests the most. Brave Becky even took off on her own and took the Chunnel to Paris. Because connections were tight, she only had time to take a bus from the train station to the Eiffel Tower and snap a quick selfie and return. But she did it!

Debbie, Evelyn and I decided to take in the Churchill War Rooms museum and it was everything all the others that saw it the previous day said it was. I was expecting it to be limited to Winston's war day, but the exhibit covered this great man's entire life, from when he was a small child born to an aristocratic father and American mother, to his death and magnificent funeral. Later we decided to take the Golden Tour Hop On Hop Off bus tour and then met Jerry as he returned from his side trip to Scotland's Jacobite region in search for information on his ancestry.

Jim and Leslie, and Preston and Dorlene went off to Wimbledon for a fantastically informative guided tour of the facilities there. Here they are at "Center Court".

Later the Van Wormer's went to see the "Body Guard", at the West End, inn which their friend was performing.

Several others went to shows as well and when I get more info and pics I will update this page.
